Reading Home Learning
Reading
This is our most important element and reading with an adult should be completed every day. Children may use their reading book, an online ELS book or the book they are currently enjoying.
Reading records will be monitored daily and reading books will be changed on Mondays. Once your child has read their book please read it with them again and focus on developing comprehension skills by asking your child to retell the story or asking them questions about aspects of the story to further their understanding.
