Nurturing Children in a Christian Environment to Achieve Excellence

School Life

Sporting Success

A team of six Year 5/6 children represented the school in Ellesmere Port and performed magnificently to finish 2nd overall. Unfortunately they missed out on winning the entire competition byjust 0.9 points.

On the same day, we also took two teams to Abbey Gate Junior School in Aldford to play in a Rounders match and our first ever competitive Kwik Cricket match. Despite narrowly losing both encounters, the children played admirably and a re-match has been arranged later on in the summer term... watch this space!

Well done to tall hose who took part. Below are a selection of photographs from the day.

Cross Country Update

It was a wet and windy evening on Friday at Ellesmere Port Sports Village, where the inter school annual event took place.

Saighton's year 3/4 girls were first to run a distance of approximately 1000m, followed by the boys, with Ruby and George making their debuts. Year 5/6 girls and boys ran a longer course showing determination to the end.

Well done everyone and thanks to parents for their support.
