Spelling Home Learning
National Curriculum Spelling
Each week, usually on a Friday, children will complete a Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar test.
Children are asked to learn all of the spellings from the list, but will only be tested on some of them.
The format of the short test will be as follows:
I will dictate three sentences to the children which they they will write down. I then mark not only their spelling accuracy, but also the accuracy of their punctuation and grammar.

Please feel free to encourage children to practice words from these lists in addition to their weekly spellings.
